Teach Me Speech is not in-network with any insurance companies.
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover).
We also accept Flex Spending/Health Savings Account (FSA/HSA) debit cards with a VISA or Mastercard logo.
No Surprises Act / Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected cost of services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate that outlines the anticipated cost of non-emergency services, including evaluations and therapy sessions.
You may request this estimate before scheduling services, and it will be provided in writing.

Evaluation & Therapy Rates*
EVALUATIONS
Comprehensive evaluations include a parent interview, review of records, observation of the child, and formal and informal assessment measures. A written report with findings and recommendations is provided.
Speech Sound Evaluation: Assessment of articulation and phonological development ~ $275
Comprehensive Speech & Language Evaluation: Assessment of speech sound production, language skills, and overall communication development ~ $395
THERAPY SERVICES
One-on-One Therapy Sessions: In-home or online sessions are 50 minutes and include direct therapy as well as parent coaching ~ $105
Sessions incorporate evidence-based therapy methods within engaging, play-based activities designed to support speech, language, and communication development.

If your child is difficult to understand, does not use many words, has trouble following directions, or becomes frustrated when trying to communicate, a speech-language evaluation may be helpful. Early intervention can make a big difference in helping children build strong communication skills.

Teach Me Speech primarily serves preschool and early elementary-aged children, focusing on early communication, speech sound development, and language skills. We have experience working with infants through older adults.

We primarily serve families in Waterford, East Troy, Burlington, Mukwonago, Wind Lake, and Muskego, with in-home services generally provided within approximately 20 miles of Waterford. Locations outside this area may be available for an additional travel fee.

Therapy sessions can take place in your home, at a community location, at your child’s daycare or preschool, or online through teletherapy when appropriate.

After-school appointments during the school year are limited and are often reserved for current summer clients, Monday through Friday, 4:15 pm–6:30 pm. Expanded daytime availability is offered during the summer months (June–August), Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

The length of therapy varies depending on a child’s needs, goals, and rate of progress. Some children benefit from short-term support, while others may participate in therapy over a longer period of time as skills develop. Progress is regularly reviewed, so therapy can be adjusted as your child grows.

Yes. Teletherapy may be available when appropriate for your child. Sessions are supported by over 10 years of telepractice experience and include interactive activities and parent coaching to promote progress at home.

The frequency of therapy depends on the evaluation results and your child’s individual needs. Many children participate in sessions once or twice per week, but recommendations are always personalized.

No. Research shows that AAC often supports and encourages speech development by providing children with a reliable way to communicate as their verbal skills develop.
